Mexico City, Jan 7 (Prensa Latina) The Mexican government is promoting a series of priority actions to achieve the goals set for this year in the areas of biodiversity, restoration, environmental inspection, and sustainable water management.
According to data released by the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources, Alicia Barcena, among the main initiatives will be the cleanup of Tula, Atoyac, and Lerma-Santiago rivers, as they represent three of the 115 most polluted sites in the country’s watersheds.
